Unconscious Letters

This series was inspired by the Mexican poet, Octavo Paz in a book of essays "Convergences" where he likened the religious experience of speaking in tongues, glossolalia,to poetry. While the former may be unintelligible, "it carries with it poetic forms of meters, accents, explosion of phonemes- all the variations of verbal rhythms."
